Corals at UNESCO International Heritage house Ningaloo reef have suffered from mass bleaching as a part of what scientists name a “marine heatwave”.

The coral harbours a large quantity of biodiversity and protects shores from excessive climate – so can the rest be completed to put it aside?

The BBC’s Katy Watson went to the far off Western Australian reef to find whether or not the wear and tear will also be undone.
