The incident took place on Feb. 9 when New Orleans hosted Tremendous Bowl LIX on the Caesars Superdome.
Louisiana State Police mentioned that Nantambu allegedly “deviated from his assigned position, retrieved a Sudanese flag bearing the message ‘Sudan and Unfastened Gaza,’ and disrupted the halftime display via working around the box with the flag.”
